About me

Hello everyone and welcome to my page!

My name is Julia and I am a girl from a small village in Austria, born in 1997. In Vienna, the Capital of Austria, I started my Bachelor’s degree in Physics and Classical Archeology a few years ago. Since then, I always thought about studying abroad; in the US to be precise. That is, why I started doing researches on some universities and colleges America has to offer last year. There were so many opportunities that made my decision pretty hard but finally I had really good reasons to apply for Green River College. One of the many reasons was that they offer some Gap Year programs all over the world! Since traveling is really important to me, I thought that would be the perfect college for me- I am able to continue my Bachelor’s degree by transferring the credits I am making abroad PLUS I get to travel to not only one country! (At this point, I want to thank my parents for making this life-changing adventure possible.)

In order to share my wonderful experiences with other people, I created this website and I will not only write about my study-abroad time in the US but also about the Gap-Year in Australia and New Zealand, which is actually not a year but ten weeks, and also about other journeys that I already made/ will make in the future.
